Support the president's initiatives
RI President Riseley is asking Rotary members to work together to advance the tradition of Rotary: Making a Difference in 2017-18.
He is challenging all 1.2 million Rotarians to simply plant a tree before Earth Day on 22 April 2018. For ideas and tree-planting advice, see the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group or download their "1.2 million tree planting" brochure. You can share your stories online using #pledgetoplant or in Rotary Showcase in the environment category.

Presidential Peacebuilding Conferences
Plan to attend one of six presidential peacebuilding conferences being held around the world to explore the connection between peace and Rotary’s five other areas of focus plus environmental sustainability.
Each year, the president designates representatives to inspire and motivate participants at district conferences.
The RI president and The Rotary Foundation trustee chair appoint club members to serve on committees that support our strategic priorities: to support and strengthen clubs, to focus and increase humanitarian service, and to enhance public image and awareness.
